Is It Summer Yet!? G.I. Joe: Retaliation [Exclusive Trailer Inside]

The Second installment to the G.I. Joe films has just made it’s way into pool of anticipated summer movies with this heart-pumping trailer.

Jon M. Chu, Director of G.I. Joe, May have something good up his sleeve for the sequel to G.I. Joe: The Rise of COBRA Releasing June 29th. Channing Tatum’s Character “Duke” looks to be disposed of  in the beginning of the trailer after the Joe’s are under attack at their base and then Exiled by to President to be replaced by The Cobra. The Film replaces Tatum’s lead role with Dwayne  Johnson as Roadblock and Bruce Willis as Joe Colton who fight to stop the Cobra from causing chaos.

Though the first film cashed in $150.2m in the box office, it did receive a very poor 34% review rating on Rotten Tomatoes which will most likely make some hesitate to going to the box office for this one. The Trailer looks like a very refreshing sequel and has that “action-packed” feel with the addition of new leading characters. Judging by this trailer, missing out on G.I. Joe: Retaliation may become a regret.
